MOVER/LABOR - FAQ'S

We are a platform for hard working individuals to earn extra income on their own schedule providing Pick Up & Delivery/Labor services for individuals & businesses.  You would provide services for private party purchases (facebook marketplace/craigslist, etc.), retail store purchases as well as simply labor.  We are an Uber style business model for small to medium size pickup and delivery needs.  

Go to our basic "Sign Up" section on our website:  1.  Complete the general information requested.  2.  Upload your driver's license.  3.  Upload your vehicle/trailer & registration pictures.  You will be contacted shortly after to discuss the final background and approval process.  The entire process can take between 4-10 days to complete our background check and to prepare you for onboarding to our platform. 

Valet/Lead Mover:  You own a truck or van.  You own a trailer. 

Valet/Helper:  For a 2 man team, you will assist the lead mover.  You do not need to own a truck or trailer to just be a helper.    

As a driver: Average income as a lead-valet/mover is $45 per move and up to $55+ per hour.   As a helper: up to $30+per hour.     

Absolutely.  Our platform moto is "Driven By Service".  We believe that   overdelivering on services is an absolute must and if it contributes to a   

customers appreciation via a tip, that’s great.     

We will do a direct deposit on a weekly basis.  You do receive 100% of the tips given (if it’s a 2 mover job, tips will be equally split).    

If you are a lead valet/mover with a truck, van and or trailer, you will be paid a higher flat fee/hourly rate and will need basic equipment.  The more equipment you have the larger moves you will be given.  Equipment list typically include: moving blankets, ratchet straps, open cargo tarps, large rubber bands, upright dolly and or 4 wheel roller dolly.

Yes.  You must take your time and be safe with every move.  Properly securing items  will ensure there are no damage claims.  If there is a simple accident, NPD will manage the claim process to minimize the repair, replacement and/or refund costs.  NPD, at its own discretion, may elect to cover a portion of the damage claim.    

You are responsible for maintaining liability insurance for your vehicle.  You should also contact your insurance company to make sure you have coverage while using your personal vehicle for earning extra income.    

If upon arrival the item is not as described or simply not safe to move, you should  not move it.  Contact customers service  to work through the next steps.    

You are an Independent Contractor.  You can decide when you are available and what jobs to accept.  You will receive a 1099 at the end of the year.  We advise you to keep good records of all of your expenses and retain for tax purposes.    

Excessive  points, suspensions and other major issues may disqualify you from becoming a  service provider on NPD platform.  Please note any issues and we will address them on an individual basis.    

 Most  moves take an hour or less but will vary depending on the number of items,  distance and other variable.  Compensation will be appropriate to the time for each pick up and  delivery.     

Our platform will direct moves to those in the general area.  You can choose to make yourself available for moves outside of your area.
